Web Design and User-friendliness
When it comes to determining whether or not a certain Web Design is effective, you have to look into what the website is trying to accomplish in the first place. If the website is selling something, then you have your sales figures to look at. If the website is more of an information campaign then you can look at your hits. Whatever the measure for effectiveness is, there are a lot of ways to ensure that your Website Design is capable of achieving the purpose that you have in mind. Looking at websites, there are so many characteristics and factors that can affect a website’s effectiveness. Of course the layout and the overall look of your website will matter, because this is what your target audience will remember and this is what will attract them to the website in the first place.
The features of your website are also important. Does your website enable your target users to do whatever they want to accomplish? More than just having the overall look and the winning features, you need a Web Designer to put all of these together into an interface that can easily be understood by your users. User-friendliness is a very important characteristic that sets effective websites apart from ineffective ones. After all, when you make your website you usually have a goal, and central to that goal is your target user. How can you expect to sell something through your website if the interface is not friendly enough to your target buyer?
