Love Hate Relationship with Technology
Technology does play a big part in our lives. We use it in cooking, communicating, moving from place to place, playing games et cetera. Without technology, we would still be using our bare hands in every work, from digging, to cleaning, to planting. But we are lucky enough to have some technology so we don’t have to do those jobs manually.
Imagine, without technology, you would have to run everyday going to school. And you would not be able to write your lessons either, because writing instruments are also considered technology. That means you have to memorize your lessons the moment you hear them! At home, your assignment in trigonometry would be a burden, because you have to derive the values of the trigonometric functions manually! That would be a waste of time. That would be hard.
Without technology life is hard. But there are times that technology is what makes life harder. Pollution, global warming, ozone depletion, those are just some of problems caused by technology. Technology is good, if used right. But if not, it is a great problem.
Technology gives us answers to the problems that they themselves cause. Our friend is our foe. It is such an irony that in our willingness to end our problems, we unconsciously create new problems.
Technology, on its own, is good. It is man that makes it evil. Unless we learn to use it right, we won’t succeed…
The Big Role of Technology in Human’s life
Technology does a big role in human’s life nowadays, especially now that we live in a very busy world. Without the use of technology life would be very hard each day. Everything will be manual. With technology it will be possible for human to keep in touch with their relatives, family, and friends by the use of cell phones, telephones, laptops, personal computers, and internet. Human can communicate easily. Homesick is being lessened specially for those who are working away from their families and love ones. Technology makes our work fast and easy unlike with old times. We can laundry our used clothes easily by the use of washing machine. Going one place to another is very easy for us now with the used of vehicles which are considered also as product of technology. Many people love to entertain their selves by the use of game gadgets; another powered by technology. It is possible for us to know what’s happening in the whole world with the use of media. Almost every one of us loves taking pictures where ever we go. Can you imagine yourself cooking with use of two stones to create fire just like the first people of the world? Would you survive? Maybe your answer is a big “NO”. Thanks to the technology we can cook whatever we want with the use of our little time.
Technology contributes so much in our lives. That’s why we must take good care and use wisely on what we have nowadays. Because for sure if we will loose all of these we will surely suffer a lot.
